Country time...

This week we went to visit some of our sweet friends who moved out to the "country". It was so nice and fun to play with their ducks and chickens. Maylee really got a kick out of the chickens!!! Doesn't that smile tell it all!!

The Butterfly Whisperer

This girl is mad about insects! She came home from preschool exclaiming that she only caught one worm! She loves digging for worms. We made her an insect box, and now she has turned about all of my jars into them as well! She now stays outside catching butterflies by the swarms. All she needs is that jar, quite impressive to me!

Having fun

Fun is always to be had around here.

Maylee was insistant that we get this picture with Regina (the blue octopus on her hand).  In her class, at the end of each day, a student is chosen to take Regina home, play with her, and write and put pictures of the adventures together.  Quite an honor ;)

Wiley had so much fun, he fell asleep before he could finish his sucker!

Still around....

It has been a while, and yes we are still around!!  Just hanging in there, keeping up with school, the usual activities and routines.  Here is a glimpse of our lives:  loosing teeth, dressing up, dressing the cats up (poor kitties, they had no idea what fun their lives would be filled with!) and always up to something!  I'm going to try to be better with posting....key word TRY!

Sweet Ella Bella

Can't believe Ella is 5!!! She had her party last week (with Hadley) with a petting zoo and pony rides. I'll try to post more pictures of that later, but it was so much fun! One of these pictures is her petting a rabbit she named Snowball!

We had our mama birthday date and she wanted to get her hair and nails done. Then she picked Copelands to eat at. We had so much in together. We had to rush back to get everyone to make it to a pep rally. All the girls really liked that, they were fixated on the cheerleaders. It was a good time had by all.

It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's Maylee!!

This picture does my heart well, especially to think where Maylee was 5 months ago. This is her at gymnastics and she is so proud that she can climb to the top (yes that is her at the very top, and another little girl holding the rope at the bottom). Strong little thing!

Yesterday my sweet baby girl turned 3!!!  Ask her how old she is, an she will say 6!  That's our Hadley Hoo.  Today we continued our celebrating with a mommy date.  

Went to Sweet and Sassy and got her nails painted.....AND....her ears pierced!!!  She did great, though she will say "it hurt real bad".  The sucker made a world of difference.  

Then off to lunch and she was much better by then. She thoroughly enjoyed the cheesecake that she ended up wearing. 

Then she got to pick out a book at the bookstore.  Fell fast asleep in the car, still with a tight grip on the book, ha!

I just love this sweet "firey redhead".  She bring so much joy laughter, and spunk to our lives.  Happy Birthday sweet Hadley!!

Hawaii

I cant believe it has been over a month since we  went to Hawaii for Matt's cousin's wedding, and I'm just now posting pictures!  Guess it has been just a little busy around here!  We had such an awesome time and returned with many wonderful memories.  Here is a just a peek of some of our time.
