Easter Fun

We had a great Easter season, celebrating our risen Savior. It is really neat to see Maylee starting to get it. In one of her prayers she said, "...and Dear Jesus I hope you don't have to die on the cross", that sparked a whole other conversation.

We had some really fun Easter egg hunts with friends, school and at Nonnie and Pop's. Lots of fun. Here are some pictures.

Something just not right....

Ok, so I'm sitting here checking things on the computer, while Maylee is pretending to talk on the phone. These are some pieces of her conversation..."Hi, I just saw your kids on Facebook.." Seriously a four year old talking about Facebook!! Then another bit, "Hi Marianne, I have to go poop"....as she sets the phone down and runs to the bathroom. I'm so glad we aren't that honest on the phone!

Run for the border

Lulu, the sweet lady who helps me out, sometimes will bring her little boy Edgar over when he has a school holiday. Maylee and Ella love playing with him, and I think the feeling is mutual. I think Edgar's favorite thing to do is drive the black car. One afternoon Maylee, and Edgar were driving around, and I went to check on them. I said, "Hey guys, what's going on?", and Maylee responded, "We're going to "Medico" City." I was speechless. It was pretty funny.
